Visit Moesgaard Museum and you will get a cultural history museum-experience of international class. In the archeological exhibitions on danish bronze age, iron age and viking ages and the ethnographical exhibitions on ia. death in different cultures you will find yourself up close with the persons behind the displayed objects. The 16.000 m2 exhibitory building and the stagede and dramatized exhibitions create togetherness and experiences across generations.

 

In the museum shop the guests can find interesting books and different gift ideas, and in the café facing the forest and water, you can enjoy a light meal or hot dish with a nordic twist.

 

The grasscovered roof of the museum is open to the public all year round, and offers a splendid view of the Aarhus bay, the forest and the spectacular golden age-landscape.
