BEFORE YOU COME TO US
How much does camping cost?
Prices vary from season to season and depend entirely on how many of you are going and what your requirements are. We have made a price list that can make you wiser. See it right here.
Do we have to bring our own bed linen?
Yes, you must bring your own linen for all our cabins and tents (duvet, pillowcases and sheets) and also remember towels. You can buy linen packages with or without towels online at a discount or order them when you arrive.
Can we bring our dog?
You are welcome to bring your dog or other pets camping with us. You are also welcome to bring it with you in some of our cabins, when you have pets in the cabin, final cleaning is mandatory. Dogs must ALWAYS be on a leash and must not be let loose inside the site. Dog bags can be taken free of charge at reception and the service buildings. How far is it to the beach?
The beach is 50 m from the campsite and the beach has a blue flag. Read much more about Husodde Strand here!
Is the space handicap accessible?
The square's paths are paved with tiles and gravel. We have shower and toilet facilities suitable for wheelchair users. Most of our living spaces in the service areas have level-free access. Our cabins are not handicap-friendly and can be difficult to move around in as a wheelchair user. Access to the pool is possible.
Is your campsite child-friendly?
We believe we have a child-friendly campsite. We have arranged the campsite for pitches suitable for children and families with children. The children's playgrounds are located around our large playground with trampoline, bouncy castle and a covered pool.
Can I rent a caravan at your campsite?
No, unfortunately we do not rent out caravans on our campsite.
Is it possible to rent bicycles from you?
No, we do not have bikes for hire, with us you can borrow them absolutely FREE. We have 6 city bikes from Horsens Municipality standing by that you can borrow. You just have to go up to the reception and collect the key.
Can I get electricity in all seats?
We have electricity on all pitches, including individual tent pitches. You can rent an adapter and cable to a limited extent upon arrival.

What time can we check in?
You can check in from 14.00 in both cabins and in own carriage. Remember, you can order self-checkin and check in earlier if the space is available, also during the lunch break between 12 noon and 2 pm.
What is cWallet?
cWallet is a free app for you where we have gathered all the information about your holiday with us.
CWallet can, among other things, help you open the boom when you have to drive in and out, you can order breakfast for the next day, you can monitor your electricity consumption, you can see which activities we have while you are on holiday with us and register for the activities and a lots of other things.
You will receive a link automatically right after arrival, you are welcome to share it with others you decide.

Parking
One car may be parked at each pitch with caravan, cabin or tent.
Car no. 2 and possibly guest cars are directed to the parking lot outside the campsite. The same applies to trailers, boats, etc.

Fire regulations on camping
The fire hazard can be great on a campsite. Due to the fire hazard, there must always be 3 m between the units. See the drawing on the back of the space card that you get at reception.
It is, however, permitted to park your car in the space. On arrival at the site, we ask that our guests find out where the fire extinguishing equipment is located.
We have put up fire signs on the site, with information about the precautions in case of fire. In the event of a fire or accident, call 112 and inform the rental manager on 7565 7060.

The cabin is not in order on arrival!
It is important that you contact us as soon as possible after you have arrived at the cabin if there is something wrong with the cabin, so that we can correct the error, the cleaning etc. Only at this time we can helt you and do something about the problem and not upon your departure or later in your holiday.

WHILE YOU ARE WITH US
Do I have to bring my own service?
No, all our cabins are equipped with everything you need to cook.
Can we have a barbecue at the campsite?
Of course you can grill on the square.
We have communal barbecues at both service areas. It is also possible to buy disposable grills in the kiosk.
You can also grill at all cabins and on your pitch, however the grill must not be placed directly on the grass, on the wooden terraces or the tables.

Do you have a charging station for my electric car?
Yes, Horsens City Camping offers 2 charging stations. You must contact reception so that the charger can be unlocked for you.
When can we drive in and out of the barriers?
The boom is open between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. Outside this period, please refer to the car park outside the barrier. In urgent cases, contact the camp manager on tel. +45 7565 7060.
Do you have WIFI on the site?
There is WIFI throughout the site. If you book online you get a free license for all of you. You can also buy a code at the reception, you can read much more here. There is a free WIFI hotspot in the lounges in both service areas.
Shopping opportunities
We have our little kiosk which has a bit of everything. Our Let-Køb grocery store is only 500 m from the square and there you can get pretty much everything you need.
You can also find a Netto, Rema 1000 and a SuperBrugsen less than 2 km from the square.
Horsens Centrum is only 5 km from the square and there you can get everything in various shopping centres, in MEGA-Bilka and on Denmark's widest pedestrian street.

Can we feed the pet bunnies?
You are welcome to feed them grass, dandelions and carrots, but remember it must be fresh. You can read much more about our pet bunnies here.
Food and drinks
We have fast food in the kiosk, Pizza, Panini, French fries etc. Various drinks, coffee and draft beer and cool wine with the food. You can also buy and order breakfast bread at the kiosk. There are many restaurants in Horsens, come to reception and we will be happy to help you.
Are you in an eco-friendly campsite?
We are Green Camping certified and work every day to take care of the environment, you can read about it here.
Can I wash and dry clothes?
Yes, in the western service area we have a laundry with washing machines and dryers. You can see the prices in the laundry. You pay with your chip bracelet.
Where can I empty my toilet and kitchen water?
Emptying of chemical toilets and waste water can be done in the emptying stations in both service areas at the east and west end of the square.
Do you have Mooncars?
Yes, we have mooncars for children that can be borrowed at reception. You can also rent a large Duo chopper for both children and adults.
Where can I smoke?
Smoking is not permitted in all our cabins and in all service buildings, toilets and lounges. Smoking is not permitted in our pool area, in the reception and the kiosk.
Day guests / Overnight guests?
Guests/visitors are welcome to visit our campers, but must register at the reception on arrival before entering the site, it costs DKK 25 for a one-day visit. It is not permitted to enter the pitch if you are not visiting a camper. If your guests want to stay the night, you must register and pay for it at the reception.
Where is a defibrillator in case of an accident?
We have a defibrillator at reception - read more about defibrillators here. A defibrillator can save lives, which is why we have one at our campsite.
The defibrillator is located in the reception, which is open 8am - 10pm throughout the season. Outside of this time, you can always contact us in an emergency on tel. +45 7565 7060.
We are trained in first aid and in our defibrillators and have the most common first aid equipment available. You can always contact reception and we will help you and call for assistance if necessary.

When can I get in the pool?
The pool is open from 9 am - 9 pm, every day from approx. 1 May to week 42 Read more about the pool and its opening hours throughout the season here
When are the kiosk and mini golf open?
The kiosk and our minigolf are generally open from Easter to the autumn holidays, but we are closed for dinner in the low season. Here you can see the opening hours all year round

Do you have open all year-round?
We are open all year round. This means that you can camp with us in the summer and in the winter.
WHEN YOU LEAVE THE CAMPSITE
When must we check out?
On departure day check out from cabins is 11.00, if you stay in your own caravan, motorhome or tent check out time is before 12.00.
Cabin cleaning
All cabins must be cleaned before departure. You can do this yourself and use the utensils given to you on arrival and in the cabin. You can also order end-cleaning for payment and then there is only a few things you need to do.
Returning keys and chip-bands
Please remember to return the key to your cabin and your chip-bands for the pool when you leave the campsite.
Can I leave the caravan until next weekend?
During low-season you are welcome to leave the caravan until the following weekend, for this you have to pay the pitch-fee per day.
